Razorpay- Visa together to provide certified QR solutions
India’s first converged payment solutions company Razorpay announced its collaboration with Visa to roll-out Visa-certified QR solution under the Visa Ready Partner Programme. Razorpay is India’s first converged payment solution provider, will affiliate to roll out QR code solutions for convenience, security and stability provided by the Visa brand.
With QR technology, stores need not spend money on payment terminals at point-of-sale, permitting them to transact electronically while handling many pain items from the use of cash. Powered by superior technology and a special collection of products, Razorpay has been scripting new solutions to aid increasingly more Indian companies to move digital.

Now with Bharath QR, we would be able to bring new repayment innovations to your merchant foundation, both online and offline,” said CEO and co-founder Razorpay, Harshil Mathur. “In the context of a speedily developing Digital India, the solution has great synergy with Razorpay’s expertise to onboard stores instantly and support advanced features like multi-tier reporting. The Visa Ready Partner Programme provides structure and clarity to permit mobile device manufacturers, technology lovers, mobile network providers, and others, to gain access to Visa IP, licenses and guidelines and quickly add devices and alternatives that can initiate or admit Visa payments.
However, under the Visa Ready Partner program, Razorpay and Fomo Pay of Singapore, the First Asia Pacific partners will leverage Visa tools such as QR code generators, vendor QR code test instances and QR testing utilities, to refine their proposed repayment alternatives and ensure they meet Visa’s interoperable QR benchmarks and specifications.
The collaboration between Visa and Razorpay is intended to market a cashless lifestyle in India through will allow several new QR code use cases on the market accelerating the adoption of QR code payments.
