OnePlus 5T is the latest flagship Smartphone from the Chinese company OnePlus. The phone is likely to be launched in the month of November. The brand new OnePlus 5T has taken all the major specification and features of its predecessor.
The OnePlus 5T has been upgraded with a bigger 6.01 inches screen with full HD display of 2,160 x 1,080 resolutions and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The large 6.01-inches screen dominates the front of the phone; however the body remains essentially the same size as the 5.5-inches OnePlus 5. This has been achieved by minimizing the edges (or bezels) above and below the screen panel, and squeezing the edges even closer than ever before. It’s a significant achievement, technically, and gives the OnePlus 5T the cutting-edge visual excitement the OnePlus 5 lacks.
The device runs on Android Nougat v7.1.1 driven by an Octa-core 2.45 GHz processor and 8GB of RAM space. Update to Android Oreo will arrive for the 5T and the 5 in the first quarter of 2018. One of the biggest upgrades in OnePlus 5T is the battery 3,400mAh when compared with 3,000mAh earlier. OnePlus 5T has retained the dual-lens camera from the OnePlus 5 on the T model, but there are a few changes to the lens. The telephoto zoom lens and in comes a standard 20-megapixel lens with a much wider f/1.7 aperture. The objective is for this to aid in performance in low-light situations.
The fingerprint sensor is well-placed, easy to find without sensing around. Face-ID likes single-authentication though it offers bundled in a new, improved, facial recognition it is quite fast -at times even faster than iPhone X’s. However the company cautions that Face Unlock must not be treated as the only biometric authentication tool in the phone. To sum up the 5T is a stylish phone that does not compromise on performance.
